PENNOCK--In Longmont, Sunday, September 25, 1898, of heart disease, William De Gras Pennock, aged 77 years.
Mr. Pennock was born in Cattaraugus Co, N. Y., Sept 28, 1821, went from there to Ohio, thence to Illinois, and to Colorado in 1862. For ten years this place has been his home, having lost his wife and daughter here. He joined the Methodist church in his youth and has always kept his connection with it.
He leaves one daughter in Wyoming and an only brother, Porter R. Pennock of this city, at whose residence he died, and where the funeral services were held Tuesday morning by Dr. A. A. Johnson.
