Anthony B. Yang, MD Passed away in the Grace of Our Lord on October 24, 2010. Born on July 9, 1924.
He was a loving husband to Milagros Campomanes, a great father to Thesa Hardy, Steve Yang (Moira), Dr. Gregory Yang (Jeannene), Dr. Eugene Yang (Julie), Samuel Yang (Diana) and Claire-Anne Kilgore (Carlus), a fantastic grandfather to 15 and a caring great-grandfather to two. He was blessed with 11 brothers and sisters.
Tony obtained his medical degree from the Philippines, practiced in Canada and California and was the medical director at Magma Copper Company Hospital in Superior, AZ for 13 years. Tony successfully balanced his career and his family life. Patients appreciated his sincerity, knowledge and compassion and instilled in his children, strong family bonds and successful careers. Tony loved to spend time with his grandchildren and really enjoyed attending their birthdays, graduations, plays and recitals. He enjoyed travelling and was an avid fisherman. He could fish all day, catch as many as he could, but never ate fish!!
Memorial Services will be held at St. Joseph Church, 215 South Craycroft, Tucson, AZ, 85710 Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Diocese of Tucson in memory of Anthony B. Yang. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
