MRS. ALPHARETTA TABORN
Mrs. Alpharetta S. Taborn, 79, died at 10:30 a. m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mae Hughes, corner of St. Paris rd. and Valley pk. She had been in failing health for eight weeks.
Wife of the late George W. Taborn, who died November 6, 1942. Mrs. Taborn was born in Clifton, O., on July 31, 1866, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Hathaway Sparrow. She had resided in this vicinity her entire life.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Helen Wright of Brandt, O., and Mrs. Mabel Lehner of Springfield: three sons, Raymond W., Howard D. and Joseph E., all of Springfield: one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Morris of Hamilton, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Littleton funeral home, where services will be conducted at 10 A. M. Tuesday by the Rev. Daniel J. Uhlman. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Park.
