April 16, 1958 - October 27, 2010
Some might say a tragic dive, which broker her neck at age 16, would have ruined Marcy's life; on the contrary, she had none of that. She went on to obtain her Associates of Arts degree, work three days a week at HOK Architechture, and touch the lives of anyone she came in contact with. Living daily with many obstacles, she was always there for family. Our greatest inspiration of strength, love, and her ability to care for others will enable us to live on in her honor. Her body was not perfect, but her heart and soul always were. Her love of life influenced many, and she will be in their hearts always. She is survived by her significant other, Tom Rust; sister, Becky Wright; nieces, Shannon and Lacey Wright; great-nieces, Augustine Weeks and Harper Huddleston; extended family, The Day Family, Susan Miller, and many close friends. A Celebration of Marcella's life will be held 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, Nov 1, 2010 at the Filter Building, 2810 White Rock Rd, Dallas.
