Ocala – Robert R. "Bob" Wynne, Jr. died October 29, 2010 at his residence. Bob was born in Bradenton, FL to Robert Raymond Wynne, Sr. and Mary Lamb Wynne. Mr. Wynne graduated from Ocala High School in 1949 and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He moved to Ocala from Palmetto, FL 75 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Ennis Wynne; brother, Bill Wynne and wife Shirley of Gainesville; daughter, Alexis Wynne of Brandon. He was preceded in death by son, Robert Wynne, III in 1995 and daughter, Pamela Leigh Wynne in 1964. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Ocala on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Donald W. Jones and Rev. Allen Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala. Please bring your baseball caps. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860.
