He was born on December 9, 1956 in Bloomington, IL a son of Donald and Shirley Burroughs Bagby. He married Audrey Brunson on April 7, 1979 in Lexington, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Brandy Bagby of Springfield, IL; two sons, Jacob and Colton Bagby both of Champaign, IL; one grandson, William Cooper Bagby who was his best friend and fishing buddy; and four brothers, Mike (Jane) Bagby of East Moline; Gary (Martha) Bagby of Tustin, CA; Tom (Sue) Bagby of Marquette Heights; and Jim (Donna) Bagby of Chenoa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Bagby.
Bill loved to race motorcycles and belonged to the American Motorcycle Association District 17 in Bloomington, IL. He also enjoyed fishing with his sons and grandson, Cooper.
Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso assisted the family with arrangements.
