PRICE, SAM was born February 13, 1899, departed this life March 22, 1976 at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 9 days. He professed faith in Christ in 1931 and joined Friendship Baptist Church where he remained a member until death.
He was united in marriage to Victoria Helton September 6, 1918 and to this union were born four children. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Edell Pearson of Mooresburg, Tennessee, Mrs. Louise Hurley of Treadway, Tennessee, Dorothy Price of the home; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two brothers. Bill Price of Sneedville, John Price of Rogersville; two sisters, Nealie Price of Treadway, Tennessee, Belle Henard of California; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn his passing but our loss is his eternal gain. One son. Rev. Ruble Price preceded him in death
