DECATUR - Dale Richard Elliott, 77, of Decatur passed away at 2:25a.m., Friday October 22, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Dale was born October 7, 1933, in Decatur the son of Lloyd John Thomas and Lois Marie (Wyatt) Elliott. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School. He married Jeannette H. Vogt on October 4, 1957. Dale had served his country in the U.S. Army. Surviving is his wife: Jeannette of Decatur; children: Sandy Gosnell and her husband Tim of Mt. Zion and Bill Elliott and his wife Kris of Champaign; grandchildren: Stacey Rohman and her husband Brad of Mt. Zion, Melissa Gosnell of Missouri, Michael Elliott of Chicago, Erin Gosnell of Decatur, Elizabeth Elliott of Champaign, and Katherine Elliott of Champaign; great-grandchildren: Devin Gosnell-Roberts, Payton Gosnell-Roberts, Alex Rohman and Andrew Rohman. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his grandson: Nicholas.
