Joseph F. Hogenmiller, 80, of Kittanning MR 10, Butler Road died at 3:35 a.m. Friday (March 12, 1965) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hogenmiller was born Oct. 2, 1884 in Pittsburgh, the son of Joseph and Catherine Hogenmiller. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and the last charter member of International Association of Theatrical and Stage Employees and Moving Picture Operators of Kittanning Local No. 607. Mr. Hogenmiller was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mable (VanLeet) Hogenmiller on Aug. 12, 1959 and a son Earl, on April 11, 1953. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Anthony of Kittanning, Mrs. Hilda Lawson of Grand Haven, Mich. and Mrs. Russell (Evelyn) Mohler of Kittanning MR 10, Butler Road; three sons, George Hogenmiller of McKeesport, Joseph Hogenmiller of Texas and William Hogenmiller of Kittanning MR 10, Butler Road, 26 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one half sister, Mrs. Gertrude Horne of Greensburg. HOGENMILLER – Friends of Joseph F. Hogenmiller of Kittanning MR 10, Butler Road, who died at 3:35 a.m. Friday (March 12, 1965) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, will be received at the Alonzo P. Merwin Funeral Home, Kittanning after 7 p.m. Friday visitation hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church with the assistant pastor, Rev. Robert Brannon, officiating. The rosary will be received at 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be made in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by Merwin.
