Ann D. A. Timms, 86, died Monday at 3:30 a.m. at her residence, 1017-3rd ave., of causes incident to age.
She was born May 26, 1859 in Atwood Bank, Worcester, England, a daughter of William and Mary Ann Avery Timms. She came to Utah in 1873 on one of the first trains to Ogden after the completion of the Union Pacific railroad. She had resided in Salt Lake City about 75 years. She was a member of the LDS church and had been prominent in the Relief Society more than 30 years.
Miss Timms is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in 27th LDS ward chapel, 185 P st. Friends may call at 200 E.South Temple Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m., and at the residence of William A. Thiriot, 1120-3rd ave., Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Ann Damaris Avery Timms and Andrew William Coombs were engaged and he was building them a house. He died of pneumonia. They never married, but were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple June 27, 1895. They are buried side by side in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. See memorial #60248724.
