Cleston R. Anderson, 47, died May 17, 1974 at his home in Glenwood following a short illness.
Born May 27, 1926, Glenwood, to Oliver P. and Dorothea Richenbach Anderson.
Married Georgia May Cope April 17, 1951, Mesa, Ariz. Farmer, rancher; veteran WW 11, served in Asiatic-Pacific campaign, received Oak Leaf Cluster and Good Conduct Medal of Honor; expert light machine gunner, 86th Division 341st infantry; president Big Lake High Water Irrigation Co.
Survivors: wife; sons, daughters, Mrs. Lynn R. (Katherine) Whittaker. St. George; Kristlne; Paul Oliver; Gorden Cleston; Elizabeth, all Glenwood; brothers, sister, Berkley; Mrs. Grant (Utahna) Meacham, both Glenwood; O'Dean, Boise, Idaho.
Funeral Tuesday, 1 p.m., Glenwood one hour prior to. Friends call Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Monday 7-9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Glenwood one hour prior to service. Burial with full military rites in Glenwood Cemetery.
