Mrs. Maude Begley Coomer, 69, a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Home died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at 10:20 a.m. Saturday. She had been in failing health for several years. Born in Beattyville, Ky., she lived most of her life in Kentucky. She was married in 1924 to Jesse Coomer and he died in 1954. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Betty Newby of Greensburg, Mrs. Wanda Spence of Dayton, Ohio and Mrs. Leota Adkins of Aberdeen, Md.; four sons, Clinton P. Coomer of Lafayette, Clyde D. Coomer of Bardstown, Ky., Gene Coomer, Ft. Myers, Va., and Bert Coomer of Mars Hill, N.C.; two brothers, Dale Begley and Carl Begley both of Beattyville; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Dunaway, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Tina Cockerham of Concord, Calif. The body has been taken to Beattyville for services and burial.
