SEAT PLEASANT MARYLAND POLICE OFFICER
SHOT & KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY

Off. Clements was in the process of impounding an improperly parked vehicle along with Off. Yeszerski of the Prince George's County Police Department when the owner of the vehicle sprinted out of his house and shot both officers fatally wounding them both. Off. Clements was survived by his wife Blanche and one child, Sandra Ann.

He had attended Seaton Elementary School, Jefferson Jr. High School and Chamberlain Vocational High School in Washington before joining the Air Force at the age of 16. He had also previously served on the municipal police forces of both Mt. Ranier & Brentwood.
