Elsie Margarethe Fröndt-Sanny born 28.10.1872 Petersdorf, Fehmarn,Schleswig Holstein, Deutschland, died 9.10.1941 Saint Paul, Hennepin, Minnesota.

Elsie was married 26.2.1891 to Heinrich Gottlieb (Henry George) Sanny. He was born 15.5.1867 in Balje, Niedersachsen, Deutschland and he died 21.8.1932 Remsen, Iowa.

They had 7 children: John George Sanny 1891;

LAST RITES HELD AT REMSEN FOR MRS. HENRY SANNY. Death last Thursday in St. Paul, Minn., claimed Mrs. Elsie Froendt Sanny, well known Remsen woman, who had lived here for nearly half a century and who had been with her daughter, Mrs. Otto Petersen, in the Minnesota metropol. She was 69 years old.

Born October 28, 1872, at Fehmarn, Germany, she came with her parents to this country at the age of 13 years, the family settling in Benton County, Iowa. In 1891 she was united in marriage to Henry Sanny well known farmer; the marriage taking place in Trinity Lutheran church, Cherokee county. The couple farmed for one year south of Remsen, then moved to Meadow township north of Remsen where they resided for 24 years. The retired from active farm life in 1925 and spent their winters in California until the death of Mr. Sanny nine years ago.

Mrs. Sanny, lifelong member of the Lutheran faith, was a woman of admirable qualities and strict Christian principle; one whose splendid personality won her a friend in every acquaintance and who therefore enjoyed the confidence and highest esteem of a large host of friends.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Clara Bjork and Mrs. Frank Engelbrecht, Remsen; Mrs. Otto Petersen, St. Paul; Mrs. Ted Amundson, Remsen; Henry Sanny, Ellsworth, Minn.; John Sanny, Remsen; and Albert Sanny, Cleghorn, Iowa. There is one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Meyer of Redlands, Calif., and a brother, Hans Froendt of Spirit Lake, Iowa. There are 16 grand children. The funeral was held Sunday at St. Paul's Evangelical church in Remsen, Rev. Paul Wuebben officiating.

She was 69 years old. Surviving are seven children, a sister and a brother. The body was brought to Remsen, funeral services were held Sunday.

Mrs. Sanny, who after the death of her husband in 1932 made her home on the farm northeast of Remsen with her son John, was in good health until about two years ago. After that she made her home with her children here and in St. Paul.

There is one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Meyer of Redlands, Cal., and a brother, Hans Frondt of Spirit Lake, Iowa. There are 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The body was brought ot he home of Mrs. Clara Bjork to await the hour of burial. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the home at 1 o'clock followed by services in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church and conducted by the Rev. Paul Wuebben, and burial in the Remsen cemetery. Pall bearers were John Asmussen, John Engelbrecht, Henry Rann, Herman Schut, Fred Raetz and Jim Wagner. There was a large attendance of friends from this community and from a distance who came to pay their respects to the memory of this good woman and to offer their sympathy to those left to mourn her departure.
