Painting Firm President Dies on Vacation
C. W. Seiglar, 56, of 7217 Oak street, died yesterday at Perham, Minn. Mr. Seiglar, who operated the C. W. Seiglar & Sons Painting company, was on a vacation at a resort on Rush lake.
He had suffered a heart ailment several years. Mr. Seiglar had planned to return home Thursday. He organized the painting company in 1929. The offices and warehouse are at 1613 Harrison street. He was born in Jefferson City and moved here after World War I, in which he served in the tank corps in Europe. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth E. Seiglar of the home; two sons, Wesley L. Seiglar, 1877 East Seventy-sixth street terrace, and Chester C. Seiglar, 5324 Lydia avenue; five sisters, Mrs. Elouise A. Latimer, 5706 Olive street; Mrs. Geraldine Rudi, Los Angeles; Mrs. Etta Lou Rapp, Culver City, Calif.; Mrs. Jeannette Kunkel, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Margerite Patrick, Cleveland, and four brothers, William Seiglar and Jack Seiglar, Centralia, Ill., Lon V. Seiglar, Sacramento, Calif., and Milo L. Seiglar, Arcadia, Calif.

Services for Painting Contractor Will Be Held Thursday
Services for C. W. Seiglar, 56, of 7217 Oak street, painting contractor who died Sunday in Minnesota, where he was on a vacation, will be held at 8:30 o'clock Thursday at the Newcomer chapel and at 9 o'clock Thursday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic church. Burial will be at Forest Hill cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock this Wednesday night at the chapel. The pallbearers will be M. K. Edmonds, Robert R. Moseley, William Ormston, Chester Williams, Robert A. Lehmer, Howard A. Stanley, Richard M. Jiles and Howard P. O'Hara.
