Mrs. Goldie M. Nelson, 48, died Sunday at United Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for a year. Mrs. Nelson was born in Montcalm county and had been a life long resident of Greenville. Before her death she was employed at Federal Mogul. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Rosella Dakin, Mrs. Virginia Richardson and Mrs. Doris Bush, all of Greenville; one son, Kenneth Rich of the U. S. Army, stationed at Ft. Riley, Kans., now home on furlough; one sister, Mrs. Edna Palmer of Belding; one half-brother, William Faunt of Ionia, and seven grand children. Funeral services will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Richard Struthers will officiate and burial will be at Montcalm Cemetery.

Goldie's maiden name was Davis. She married Clyde Herbert Rich in 1921 and again in 1923. They were divorced in 1936.
