CLARA E. HIGGINS, 89 GREENVILLE
Clara E. Higgins, 89, 826 E. Washington, died Saturday evening at Christensen's Nursing Home.
Mrs. Higgins was born Nov. 21, 1889, in Bloomfield, Neb., the daughter of Edward and Margaret Simmons. She was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church and the Montcalm Aid.
Surviving are two sons, Robert, Greenville, Marvin, Lakeview; three brothers, William Simmons, Stanton, Howard Simmons, Waterford, Ernest Simmons, Ithaca; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernor, in 1969, and a son, Calvin, in 1977.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tueday at Brown-Teman Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Ken Karizen of-ficiating. Interment will be in East Montcalm Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
