George Roberts Dies At Warren
Well Known Resident Passes Away At His Home Sunday
George A. Roberts, 72, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at his home in Warren. He had been ill for a year, but the immediate cause was a stroke of paralysis which he suffered about a week ago.

He was born near Pontiac, Mich., to Eli and Marta Roberts on May 8, 1862. His marriage to Miss Minnie Pulse was solemnized in Warren on June 28, 1887. He formerly was in the clothing business in Warren.

He is survived by the widow, three children, Mrs. Miriam Crane, and Mrs. Beryl Alexander, Winamac, and Silas Roberts, Warren, and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Brett and Mrs. Etta Jackson, Essex, Ont., Can. One son, Raymond, is deceased.

Mr. Roberts was a member of the K. of P. lodge at Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home, in charge of Rev. Charles Tinkham. Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery, Warren.
