'Mrs. Jane Rider of Oak Grove community died Tuesday night at her home now occupied by A.J. Bigby, after an illness of paralysis. She was 79 years old the day of her death. She was born in Georgia but had lived here for many years. Mrs. Rider was a fine lady and one of much influence and leaves a host of friends. Burial in Oak Grove cemetery. Funeral by Rev. John Phillips.'
