From his father's 1860-1866 journal . . . Wednesday, October 8th, 1862. To day at 7 o'clock A.M. The little woman was delivered of a male child weighing 11 lbs. 1 oz. which I named "James Wrigley" in honor of my old friend, James Wrigley. There was no white persons present at the birth except Mother & myself. Dr. Murchison for whom I sent arrived too late to be of any service. The little woman and baby are doing very well. In consequence of the birth of this my first SON I took a big egg nogg, which was not bad by the way. weather cloudy and warm. it commenced raining about 8 o'clock a.m. & rained throughout the day.
. . .
From the Hall Family Bible . . . James Wrigley Hall son of James M. and Margaret A Hall died on the 11th day of October AD. 1867
. . . . . . . . . .

Esther Biggers, a Hall family historian, said that she visited this cemetery with her father several years before his death in 1983 . . . and that at that time there were markers here for various members of the Hall family who originally owned the land where this cemetery is located . . . she later learned that those markers had disappeared . . . but was never able to determine what had happened to them.
