The Stovers were Quakers and thereby labeled Loyalists. Some of the family arrived in Ernestown, Ontario at the end of the American Revolutionary War.
When his wife died in NY about 1811, Adam (& sons) obtained 5000 acre property in Norwich Township, Ontario, and he relocated and died & is buried there.
Early records show Adam's grave reportedly in the Pioneer Cemetery in N. Norwich, but FAG merged the original memorial to one in the Norwich Village Cemetery. If you can provide proof of location, please note it in an edit recommendation.
The old Quaker Meeting House was reportedly located on Adam's property.
