William Harold "Will" Bevill was born November 11, 1872 at Horsby's Bend, Travis County, Texas, to A. J. Bevill and Nancy Gilbert. He was not married. Will stood 6ft. tall, had blue eyes, light hair and a light complexion. Will was a farmer. He enlisted in the Texas Rangers at Austin, Travis County, Texas, as a REGULAR RANGER from December 15, 1917 until Oct 1, 1918. He was a private in Co. F. He resigned. He was a farm laborer and a "gin engineer". William Harold Bevill died October 10, 1918 in Travis County, Texas. I do not know where he is buried
