Valores V. Clapper, 82, of Mission, Ks, passed away Friday, April 21, 1995, at Life Care Center of Overland Park. Funeral services will be 2p.m. Tuesday, April 25, of Alden-Harrington Chapel; burial in Bonner Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the chapel.
Mrs. Clapper was born Jan 3, 1913, in Iola, Kansas. She was a member of Iola Grace Baptist Church. She worked as a payroll clerk for Montgomery Wards, retiring in 1970.
Survivors include: her husband, Eddie Clapper, of the home; one son, James C. Stewart, California; two daughters, Virginia L. Brockett, Pittsburg, Mo and Janet Freeman, Mission, Ks; one brother, Elmer Watman, Denver, Colo; three sisters, Marian Aldridge, Springfield, Mo; Marjorie Salvia, San Diego Calif. and Martha Reddell, Stockton, Mo; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
