WILLIAM H. STOTLER died at his home, one mile from Chewsville, on Thursday night at 7:15 o'clock from complications, aged 85 years, seven months and 25 days. He had been bedfast two weeks.
Mr. Stotler was a highly respected citizen of the Chewsville District and was a staunch Republican. He was born and reared in Chewsville.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Ruea L. Stotler he is survived by the following: daughters, Mrs. Harry Martin, Leitersburg; Mrs. Luther M. Weller and Mrs. French E. Willis, Hagerstown; Miss Mary E., at home; sons, William H. Stotler, Jr., and Lloyd H., at home.
Funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, services at the house at 2 o'clock by Rev. Guy Stambaugh. Interment in Rest Haven cemetery. A request has been made for the omission of flowers.
