She was born March 3, 1923 in Templeton to Raymond and Dorothy (Cochran) Bonnett.
Mrs. Dickey was a homemaker.
She was a member of the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church, East Franklin Township, where she taught Sunday school for more than 30 years.
She was a volunteer at the Worthington Senior Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County.
Survivors include two sons, William R. Dickey of Butler and Floyd "Ed" Dickey of Tiffin, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. William (Diane) Whittaker of Ford City; three grandchildren, Chris Dickey, Mrs. Tim (Theresa) Batesole and Amber Toy; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Bonnett of Pittsfield, James Bon-nett of Clyde, Ohio and John Bonnett of Shelocta; and six sisters, Mrs. David (Geraldine) Craig of Oak Grove, Ky., Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Goldstrum, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Burns and Mrs. James (Helen) Clever of Kittanning, Mrs. Albert (Madge) Walleck of Ford City and Peggy McElroy of East Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George A. Dickey, who died Jan. 30, 1996; two infant sons, Donald and Joseph Dickey; one infant daughter, Linda Dickey; and one infant grandson, Michael Alan Dickey.
DICKEY - Friends of Betty Louise (Bonnett) Dickey, 79, of Kittanning RD3 (East Franklin Township), who died Sept. 14, 2002, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, Inc., 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church with her pastor, the Rev. David Caves Jr., officiating. Burial will be in West Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery, East Franklin Township. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Kennedy & Blodgett.
