"Mrs. Eunice Bassett Hewitt, 94, of Pontiac, Michigan, died Sunday, February 22, in Michigan.
She was the oldest member of Barnard's Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station.
Surviving are her stepdaughter, Mrs. Eliza Kirkham of Knoxville; a son, Floyd Hewitt of Illinois; daughter, Mrs. Wendell (E. Fay) Wright, Michigan; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mayes Mortuary in Morristown with Rev. Marvin Phillips officiating.
Burial in Meek cemetery."
