Loving H. Baugh, 93, of 2512 Howell, a Confederate veteran, died Tuesday at a local sanitarium. He served under Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest during the Civil War.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lamar & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at old Oak Cliff Cemetery.
Mr. Baugh was a native of Tennessee. He lived in Dallas for more than thirty years. Surviving are nine sons, Jake, Johnnie, Harvie, and Thompson Baugh of Dallas; Jim and Lee Baugh of Santa Anna; Tom Baugh of Kentucky, Arthur Baugh of Los Angeles,and Forest Baugh of LaVerne, Ca.
