Mr. Andrews was a native of Chadwick, Mo. He lived in Modesto since 1944. He was a carpenter and employed with Modesto City Schools. He was a member of E Clampus Vitus Chapter 58. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1960.
He is survived by his wife, Laura M. Andrews of Modesto; children, David Andrews of Salida and Debbie Andrews of Modesto; his father, Elmer Andrews of Ceres; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Gardali of Modesto; a sister, Kay Bauborough of Coquille, Ore; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, Modesto, in charge of arrangements.
