NETTIE BENISH, 82, NATIVE OF OAKVILLE, DIES AT BURLINGTON
Wapello -- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dudgeon Funeral Home for Mrs. Nettie Elizabeth Benish, 82, of Cedar Rapids, who died Saturday at St. Francis hospital, Burlington. The Rev. Floyd Shepherd will have charge. Burial will be at the Wapello cemetery.
Mrs. Benish, who had been a resident of Cedar Rapids the past 45 years, suffered a fractured hip while visiting her sister, Mrs. Clarence young of Wapello, six months ago and has been in failing health since that time.
The daughter of William and Olivia [Brown] Robertson, she was born April 13, 1875, at Oakville. She was married to William Benish.
Survivors include one son, James L. Benish, Cedar Rapids; one brother, Bert Robertson, Wapello; two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Young, Wapello, and Mrs. Orpha Carpenter, Burlington; and three grandchildren.
