Mrs. Ivan Bacon

Lillie Francis Woche, daughter of Frank and **** (may be Emma) Woche, was born near Lake Alkali Lake in Cherry County, Nebraska, January *(may be 6), 1911.
Except for about eleven years from 1930-1941, she spent all of her life in Valentine.
She was united in marriage to Ivan Bacon, December 23, 1928, on a ranch near Valentine. Nine children, six sons and three daughters, were born to this union. Two of the sons passed away in infancy.
Mrs. Bacon united with the Methodist Church in Valentine , May 9, 1948.
She passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, April, 18, 1959, after an extended illness of about ten years.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan; four sons, Raymond of Valentine, David Harry Bacon of Missoula, Montana, Larry Gene now serving in the Armed service in Germany, and Kenneth Ivan Bacon at home; three daughters, Mrs. Mrs. Leona Florence Smith of Mexico, Missouri, Mrs. Shirley June Overman Of Missoula, Montana, and Katherine Ann Bacon at home; *** (list of grandchildren omitted); three sisters, Mrs. Luella Frey of Valentine, Nebraska, Mrs. Augusta Prejean of Port Arthur, Texas, and Mrs. Nellie May Reagan of Houston, Texas; besides other relatives and a wide circle of friends
Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Church at Valentine, Nebraska, April 23. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
