Chester R. Corbin, age 82, passed away at 7:50am August 31, 2010 at the Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, AR.
Chester was born in Brook, Indiana on January 11, 1928, the son of Chester R. Sr. and Ruby (Goodacre) Corbin.
He had been a resident of Arkansas since 2000. Chester graduated from Brook Public Schools and went on to graduate from Purdue University where he sang in the Purdue Men's Varsity Glee Club. He was a retired salesman for Summerfield GMC in Gary, Indiana. He was a member of the Virgie Christian Church.
His first marriage was to Roberta Pettet on January 15, 1949 in Brook, Indiana. She passed away December 9, 1998.
His second marriage was to Lorraine Perry, who survives.
Chester is survived by: Lorraine (Perry) Corbin, spouse; Jeanette (Michael) Leichty, daughter, Temecula, CA; Roger Corbin, son, Ponce Inlet, FL; Karen (Jon) Evans, daughter, Wolcott, IN; Stepchildren: Jim, Dan, Dennis & Cherrie Perry 6-Grandchildren 5-Great-Grandchildren Chester was preceded in death by: Roberta Pettet Corbin, first spouse; Charles Corbin, son 2-Brothers, Glen & George Corbin.
Burial of cremated remains will be at Memory Gardens of Rensselaer.
