Austin was the son of Jackson (11-15-1885/12-23-1948) and Bessie Floyd Cox. Bessie Floyd Cox (died abt. 1913) is buried at Rocky Pond Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee Co, in an unmarked grave.(With her Floyd family). 1930 census records shows her birth to be around 1892.
Jackson is buried at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cementery in Jeff Davis Co, with second wife Eliza Jane Lankford cox (5-14-1895/6-28-1943) and infant daughter (10-9-1938).
