John H. Meyer, 38, of 1618 Richmond Drive, died at Monday midnight at General Hospital, where he had been taken after collapsing earlier in the day at Norris and Edenside.
Chief Deputy Coroner J. Kenneth Murphy said cause of death has not yet been determined.
Meyer was a native of Louisville and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Roberta Fritsch; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Meyer; five brothers, Joseph J., Bernard J., William B., C.T. and Robert J. Meyer, and a sister, Mrs. David V. Spanyer.
The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday from H. Bosse and Son Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison, and at 9 a.m. at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
