Meyer was a native of Louisville and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, the former Roberta Fritsch; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Meyer; five brothers, Joseph J., Bernard J., William B., C.T. and Robert J. Meyer, and a sister, Mrs. David V. Spanyer.
The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday from H. Bosse and Son Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison, and at 9 a.m. at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
