John A. Sharp, aged 25 years, died at the home of his parents, Mr. And Mrs. W. D. Sharp, at Union Mills, November 15, of typhoid fever. He was a native of Washington county, and had been living in Jessamine three years. He was taken sick at Fort Springs, Tenn., where he had been for a short time. The deceased was an industrious, upright young man and his death was a great shock to the family. Wife, four brothers and four sisters survive him. The funeral was conducted Tuesday morning from the late residence, Rev. R. L. Courtney officiating. Burial took place at Maple Grove Cemetery. Jessamine Journal.
