Barcroft - Sherman, Texas, Oct 29-Martin Beron Barcroft, 51 years old, car builder at the Frisco Railway shops here fell dead while driving his car. Funeral services were held from his residence Thursday, conducted by the Rev. C. L. O'Bryan, pastor of the North Park Baptist Church. The body was forwarded to Comanche for burial Sunday afternoon. Services will be under the auspices of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marshall Barcroft, and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Maggie Cook and Mrs. Luis Wadrop, Comanche; Mrs. O.H. Davenport, Howe; Mrs. Willie Revels and Mrs. Lillie Weatherby, Rockwood; Mrs. Lee Henderson, Big Spring; C.P. Barcroft, Mount Pleasant. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. J.B. Barcroft of Comanche. Mr. Barcroft came to Sherman from Cleburne about three years ago. He had been connected with railroad work for the last sixteen years. For many years he had been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
