Mrs. Thomas Benda, 55, formerly of Spirit Lake died at cherokee on Monday after an extended illness. Mrs. Benda, who was born in Jackson County, is a sister of Wiss Uptagrafft of Estherville. Burial was made in Spirit Lake's Lakeview Cemetery on Wednesday.
