They [Thomas and Cynthia] remained in Schuyler Co, MO until sometime before 1870, when they moved to Davis Co, Iowa. They remained in Davis Co, Iowa for about 5 years. They moved to Ringgold Co Iowa then, ca. 1875. Thomas Arnold died in 1881 and Cinthia Arnold died ca. 1877. They died there in Ringgold or Union Co Iowa. They are both buried in the Oakhill Cem., Union Co, Iowa."
