Benjamin was the son of Frederick W. Olds and Ethel C. Auten. Ethel was the daughter of Benjamin Auten and Carrie Smith. Benjamin married Marjorie B. Scott.

BENJAMIN G OLDS--79: 1069 Breyman Hgwy, Tipton MI, died suddenly Sunday [8-16] at Herrick Hosp-Tecumseh. He was born 18 Nov 1907 in Cone MI, a son of Fred & Ethel Auten Olds. He was married to Marjorie Beebe on 30 Sep 1929 in Toledo OH, she survives. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company, Ypsilanti Plant, retiring after 30 years in 1967. MrOlds was previously a member of the Milan Baptist Church & transferred to Onsted Baptist Church when he moved to Evans Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; 2 daus, 7 grandchildren; 6 gr-grandchildren & other relatives. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter in infancy, his parents & 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 19 at Stevens Funeral Home in Milan with the Rev. Blake Hunt of the Milan Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milan Baptist Church. Friends may call beginning 7 p.m. Tuesday. Stevens Funeral Home, Milan.
