John Fuller, s. of Robert Fuller and Sarah Bowen, b. circa 1648 at Salem, Mass. He died during or following one of the numerous Indian attacks on Rehoboth, Mass. in the King Philips War. He was buried at Rehoboth Aug. 23, 1676, his age not of record. John was the 2nd of the family to be buried at Rehoboth within a two month period. John's older brother Samuel was buried at Rehoboth eight days earlier Aug. 15th followed by their mother Sarah buried at Rehoboth Oct. 14, 1676. Their burial locations are unknown.
On Apr. 25, 1673 at Rehoboth, John m. Abigail Titus, dau. of John Titus and Abigail Carpenter, b. Feb. 18, 1652/3 at Rehoboth. They had the following two children of record at Rehoboth:
• i. John Fuller, Jr., b. Sept. 8, 1674, d. testate Oct. 4, 1747 at Attleboro, Mass.; m. 1) Dec. 28, 1701 at Attleboro, Mass., Joanna Shephardson, who. d. Aug. 17, 1719 at Attleboro; m. 2) June 29, 1720 at Attleboro, his widowed 1st cousin, Sarah (Fuller) Follett, d. of Jonathan Fuller (Robert,1) and Elizabeth Wilmarth, b. Apr. 23, 1680 at Rehoboth. Sarah d. Mar. 23, 1750 at Attleboro.
• ii. Abial Fuller, b. Dec. 30, 1676 after his father's death, d. Apr. 20, 1720 at Plympton, Mass., Æ 44; m. Feb. 19, 1702/3, Annis Parker. She m. 2) as his fourth wife, Daniel Pratt of Plympton and d. at Plympton, Feb. 21, 1760.
These two children were provided legacies in the 1689 will of their maternal grandfather, John Titus. Following John Fuller's death, Abigail (Titus) Fuller m. 2) Oct. 16, 1679 at Rehoboth as his 2nd wife, Thomas Cushman, Jr. of Plymouth, Mass., s. of Elder Thomas Cushman and Mary Allerton. He was b. Sept. 16, 1637 at Plymouth.
