Funeral services for Wilburn Franklin Cunningham, 62, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at Heartland Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Turnbow officiating. Interment will follow in Jenkin Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Cunningham died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Brownwood.

He was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Brownwood. He was raised and educated in Pumkin Center. He retired as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and his decorations were marksman (rifle). He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Modie "Stuffy" and Mary Ellen Cunningham; and a son, Tommy DeWayne Cunningham.

Survivors include three sons, Monty Cunningham of Brownwood, Greg Cunningham of Cedar Creek and Kerry Cunningham of Early; one daughter, Lisa Jowers of Early; one brother, Earl Cunningham of Blanket; three sisters, Marguerite Treadwell of Cisco, Mildred Wade of Pa. and Marian Morgan of Early; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
