Max (Mendel) Swerdlow was born 1875 and died November 12, 1937 at the age of about 62.

He was the son of Israel (Yisrael) Sverdlov and Rebecca Delora.

Max was the brother of Samuel (Ida) Sverdlow, Mikha'eil (Elizaveta) Sverdlov, David (Deborah) Sverdlov, Ya'akov (Rachel) Sverdlov, and Miriam Sverdlov.

He married Rachael Agress about 1920 in Russia.

Max and Rachael immigrated to Cleveland around 1925 and he was a Bookbinder.

Max was the great-uncle of Charles Swerdlow

Max was the great-great-uncle of Dr. David Brian Swedlow.
