Mrs. Viola E. Storm died at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 1939 at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Zella Storm, in Windsor. Funeral services were held at Ash Grove church Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Ira Blythe officiating. Interment was in Ash Grove cemetery. Viola E. Storm was a daughter of James and Emily Storm and was born in Big Spring township May 1, 1864. She was married to David Miles Storm Aug. 23, 1885. He passed away Feb. 12, 1939. They had one son, Lonnie Henry Storm, who died several years ago. Surviving Mrs. Storm are three brothers and one sister: Eli Storm of Strasburg, Dell Storm of Stewardson, Cliff Storm of Charleston and Mrs. Elsada Curry of Shelbyville; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Storm had been a member of Lower Ash Grove church since early childhood. She had been an invalid for some time and for the last six months had made her home with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Zella Storm, in Windsor. Windsor Gazette – 19 Oct 1939
