May 23, 2009 Melvin H. "Butch" Leonard, 70, of Cleveland, passed away May 23, 2009, at Oneida Health Care Facility. Born in Utica, he had been a life resident of Cleveland. Butch retired in 1999 as a laborer for Oneida Limited in Sherrill after over 40 years of service. He was predeceased by a daughter, Melinee Leonard, on January 19, 2009. Butch is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Dianna C. Mooney; a son, Joseph of North Syracuse; a daughter, Rhonda Leonik of East Syracuse; seven grandchildren; two great-grand-children; two brothers, Clarence Jr. of Caughdenoy and Toby of Cleveland; three sisters, Pamela Tuff of Bernhards Bay, Katherine Harrington of Norwich and Linda Phelps of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
