Quanah, Texas, Sept. 10.--Harry Y. Thrasher, formerly of Quanah, died in the United States Veterans' hospital in Denver Sunday. Mr. Thrasher was one of the first 11 Quanah boys who joined the marines at the beginning of the world war and was stationed at Newport News and later in Haiti. He has been a patient in the Colorado hospital for several years. Deceased is survived by two brothers, Moody and Merton; four sisters, Mrs. J. A. Ennis, Mrs. Lizzie Edmonds, Mrs. Charlie Barker and Mrs. Luther Orr, all of Quanah. Mr. and Mrs. Orr, Moody Thrasher and Albert Ennis attended the funeral held in Denver.
He married Pauline C. Wyatt on Oct. 14, 1929 in Golden, Jefferson County, Colorado.
