Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Sampson, age 80 of Shock, Gilmer County, died Thursday, in a Gassaway Hospital.
A member of the Frozen Run Baptist Church near Shock.
Surviving sons, Harvey and Clyde of Windham, Ohio; Homer of Shock; Curt of Nicut; Davey of Pittsburgh; Clemons of Little Hocking, Ohio. Daughters Mrs. Hallie Sears of Nicut; Mrs. Ocie King of Shock; Mrs. Lou Jean Knopp of Parkersburg. Half brother,Henry McCune; half sister, Mrs. Nancy Hall of Gip, W.Va.; Mrs. Minnie McCoy of Parkersburg.
Services 2 p.m. at the Frozen Run Baptist Church, burial Frozen Run Cemetery. Bartlett Funeral Home, Gassaway.
Note: Died 11 August 1966.(Frozen Run Baptist Chuch Cemetery and Cottrell Cemetery, Calhoun Co. WV are the same cemetery.)
