Lomira News, November 3, 1915-
Gustav Steinbach, aged 69, resident of Mayville for the past eleven years, died Thursday evening after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow, nee Fellwock, four sons, Emil, Otto, Henry and William and two daughters, Anna, Mrs. Bernard Steinbach, and Ella, Mrs. Wetzel. The funeral took place Sunday. The deceased came to this country from Germany when a year old and resided in Theresa before moving to Mayville. Buried in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
He immigrated with his parents and siblings aboard the ship HERSCHEL arriving on July 1, 1848.
