Spencer Monroe Goodson of Mills Township, died at his home June 6, 1903, aged 74 years. Mr. Goodson was born in Bond county, April 5, 1829 and resided here all his life. He married Nancy O. Vawter on April 10, 1850 and to them were born eight children, seven of whom together with the widow survive as follows: Orson, Thomas, Harry, Mrs. V.A. Hawley, Mrs. Theo. Ellegood,Mrs. Eli Wright and Mrs. William Hunter. One brother, John Goodson and two sisters, Mrs. Sam White and Mrs. Adelia white survive. Burial at Camp Ground cemetery.
