Emily was preceded in death by her brother, Sean. She is survived by parents, Marsha and Jess DeVaney; daughters, Alexia, Megan and Hope; grandmother, Nelda; aunts, Melody and Tina; also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Emily was a 1992 graduate of Sahuaro High School where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She attended Pima Community College. Emily loved being a mom. She was a loving daughter.
Emily's love for animals; spirited sense of humor and fun-loving nature will be missed by all whose lives she touched and brightened The strength and character she demonstrated throughout her lengthy battle with Huntington's Disease was inspirational to all those around her.
Visitation at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL on Wed, Mar 26, 2008 at 6PM. Rosary at 7PM. Funeral mass Thurs, Mar 27,2008, 12Noon at St. Rita in the Desert Chapel in Vail, Arizona; followed by a 2PM. interment at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson. Her family expresses deep gratitude for the doctors, nurses, caregivers, and special friends at Posada del Sol.
