Daughter of the late Richard Harrison Higgins and Beatrice Reins Higgins, she was the widow of Jimmy Preston Campbell. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Howell, and by a son, Robert Campbell. She was survived by two daughters, Barbara Shew (Randy) and Linda Tallmon (Danny); one son, Jimmy Campbell (Rena); one sister, Helen Adams (Fred); one brother, Richard "Billy" Higgins; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held on August 15, 2010, with The Rev. Hubert Bullis officiating.
