Wilma Jean (Sloas) Lovelady, 80, formerly of Harrisburg departed this life Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born December 6, 1940 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the daughter of Floyd and Eva Mae (Adams) Sloas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of twenty-nine years before his passing, Eules “Sonny” Lovelady, five brothers: Johnny, Wilburn, Donald, Rayburn, and Jimmy Louis Sloas. Wilma was a CNA in the Nursing –Rehab Facilities in Jonesboro for twenty years. She is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, time spent in the Ozark Mountains, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Lorrie (Randy) Wright of Jonesboro, three sisters: Ivalean Clifton of Harrisburg, Christine Merritt of Harrisburg, Maxine Cook of Tennessee, two grandchildren: Will and Thomas Craft of Jonesboro. Funeral Service will be Saturday at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home @ 10:00 with visitation from 9:00 until Service time. Pastor Patrick Tucker will conduct the service.
